" I REC Mohd Firdaus, i/c no S8429363F,
right masterhand, no sweaty palm, permission to enter the bay sergeant!"

i think i becoming slacker during this fasting month.. we were excused frm doin 5BX.. futhermore no much runnin to do.. in spite of all that, i still passed my IPPT.. allamdullilah..

nuthin much to update cept for the strong temptations to drink to wet my dry throat.. seriously, its really dry.. when u see other ppl bath in sweat, u see us with minimal sweat coz no more water in our body.. there was once, our company has to do 'saikang' (shit work).. we have to go to this place and clear all the dry leaves, clear growth found at the concertina wire, rearrange dummies, sand bags.. during break time, seeing the non-muslims quenchin their thirst with orange drink.. fuuhh.. tell u ah.. i really do want to break fast at that time siah coz im freaking dry.. thank god, i tell myself i can do w/o it.. just patiently wait for margrib..

other than that, training has been good.. my back injury also has recovered.. one of my chinese platoon mates went to me n said, "i admire u guys, fasting n still training like us. if i ah, lunch time only, my stomach growling already"..

im just typin at random, dun really have a clue how to blog properly.
next week wont be bookin out coz will b goin into the jungle.. hope to have good time there..

in the meantime, this is wad we always said during our trainings:

Basic Close Combat Training (BCCT)
+ "KILL!" "KILL!"..
everytime we kena pumping, we have to shout this word.. haa

Hand Grenade
+ "safety ring twist, safety ring pull, safety ring out"
+ "grenade prepared n ready to throw"
+ "grenade!"
+ "1000, 2000, 3000 ... 7000"
+ "1000"
the calls u have to make when throwin grenade

think i shud go now ah.. otak mati already.. happy fasting..

move like lightning shout like thunder

well well well.. the time has finally came. a time a boy change into a man. k dats what ppl say la.. =p.. here i m.. back again in front of the computer after 2 weeks breathing the tekong air, seeing green most of the time, seeing men 98% of the time, seeing ppl fallin sick, hearing coughs here n there, goin to lectures for some unnecessary talks.. they say NAVY has the 3 Ss; Sun, Sand, Sea.. well the ARMY has its 3 Ms; Mud, Moon, Mosquito.. haa.. yet to experience them.. sOOn!..
how have i been doin, some may ask.. hmm.. ok la.. the usual stuff that the army does.. one thing, its kinda rushing.. like u have to pick up the skills, technique fast..

oh, my company, LEOPARD is a warrant officer company, which means most of the big heads are regulars unlike most companies where the big heads are NSF also.. hmm.. wad else to update u guys.. k a quick intro bout my company.. im in platoon 4 which means my bunk is at the 5 level.. so everyday have to go up 100 steps to get to my bunk.. everyday, on average, 5 times go up n down.. my platoon have 5 malay guys (including me) but im the only malay in my section.. lost?.. haa.. nvm..

on the other note.. to xx, thanks for accompanying me during my enlistment day, to joop, thanks for sending the letter to my parents, to those who tagged, thanks ppl.. hope u guys are doin fine.. to boo, miss ya!, to jaded, miss ya too!.. to who else eh.. haa.. to everyone that miss me, miss u ppl too larh!... ;>

for now, enjoy the entry i wrote down on my notebook during lecture and also one of the nice army song.. see you guys next weekend!

it was dusk time. the sun has just set, the sky slowly turning black.
facing the landmark, were hundreds of people. one by one was handed a 'wife'. they had to no choice but to accept their fate. then, everyone took an oath, to look after her day and night, rain or shine, never to leave without her. the ceremony lasted about an hour half. that nite was my weapon presentation ceremony. the wife i was handed was a m16s1.. -051004

i ask my love
to take a walk
to take a walk
down orchard road
bypass mandarin
to centrepoint
where we had lunch
at mcdonalds
we had fillet
and an apple pie
we share a cup
of lemon lime
i held her hands
lookin into her eyes
i ask her to
to be my valentine

now i confine
in BMTC
i miss you so
my sweet honey
i promise you
when i book out
i call u up
and take you out

there was one nite
there was no light
there was no light
so we use torch light
in the clear moon light
looking into her eyes
i ask her to
to be my future wife
